Havana City and Old Havana.
Firstly, you must visit Havana city. The capital of Cuba is a commercial, economic and communication hub, almost since its foundation in 1519, thanks to its convenient location close to the Strait of Florida. Havana is the most important attraction for tourism in the country, due to its centennial history and the presence of stunning beaches. The city features a powerful tourist infrastructure with thousands of rooms available. The “Havana Vieja”, is a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1982. Havana Vieja is home to numerous buildings, fortress and historical monuments. Amongst its beautiful buildings stands La Catedral de la Virgen María de la Concepción Inmaculada. The church features a baroque architectural style and was built between the XVII and the XIX century.

Peninsula de Zapata
This Peninsula is a heaven on earth for bird-watching and nature lovers. Peninsula Zapata is home to the largest wetlands in the Caribbean. Zapata Swamp is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, and home to more than 150 different species of birds and a large number of crocodiles. There are some areas where visitors can see some of these animals in their natural habitats. If you want to visit a crocodile farm you can also explore Boca de Guama. Furthermore, close to this swamp you can find the Bay of Pigs, famous site of the 1961 invasion. Visitors can discover curious facts of the invasion at the Giron Museum.
